Background
Today, many consumers own wearable devices such as smartwatches. As a result, drivers are often distracted by alerts and vibrations coming from these devices while driving.​​​​​​​
Insight
However, we discovered that in car racing console games, vibration is used to guide players on where to go next or to warn them when a collision occurs.
Idea
So we combined this function with smartwatches and proposed “PULSE,” an app designed for drivers. Like a game console, the app uses precise vibrations to guide drivers, such as signaling when to prepare for an intersection or warning them through vibration when a vehicle is in their blind spot during a lane change, helping create a safer driving culture.
